Manchester United fan fears this is beginning to reflect badly on him

A Manchester United fan is starting to feel like the club's recent poor performance is turning him into a walking disaster. Nathan Muir, who has proudly supported the team since their glory days, is now questioning his life choices as he notices uncomfortable similarities between his own habits and the club's management.

Muir, 45, has used his devotion to Manchester United as a guiding principle in his marriage and career. However, he's beginning to think that the club's current chaos is making him look foolish. He mused, "I don’t know if the management realizes how bad this is for me, but they're making me look like a fool."

For years, Muir has stayed optimistic, repeating phrases like "form is temporary, class is permanent," but even his patience has limits. At home, his tendency to pick up and drop expensive hobbies mirrors the club's revolving door of management, and at work, he's starting to be seen as someone who never quite achieves success.

Reflecting on his fandom, Muir realized, "Actually, I didn’t realize it until now, but I think I was a fan of Sir Alex Ferguson." It seems the former glory days under Ferguson are what truly captured his heart, not the current state of affairs at Manchester United.
