A woman preparing for a night out has spent an astonishing three days trying to perfect her winged eyeliner. Lauren Hewitt began her quest for the perfect cat-eye look three days ago and has been caught in an endless loop of applying, wiping, and reapplying her eyeliner.

Lauren humorously shared, "I know from experience that putting on eyeliner can take a while, so I gave myself plenty of time. Unfortunately, I've overrun by 71 hours." Despite her best efforts, Lauren's journey has included punching a wall out of frustration and considering asking her housemate for help, but she insists on finishing the task herself.

The punchline? Lauren plans to showcase her painstakingly evened-out eyeliner at a dingy underground bar where nobody will even notice it. Her friend Hannah Tomlinson quips, "Sounds like Lauren's nearly ready. I'm still plucking my eyebrows, but if I hurry, I'll only be fashionably late by 48 hours."
