I was on tenterhooks all night, captivated by Priya Hall's jokes. Never before have I seen a comedian to which I was literally on the edge of my seat to hear the punchline, and what sweet relief it was when they were delivered. I laughed, I laughed a bit more, and I laughed further. There were no breaks from the relentless joke machine on stage, and I loved every second. It felt such a personal set, that we were up there with them as an audience, learning and laughing as we went along. Priya Hall's set had everything, from the everyday bad pun to punchy, thoughtful commentary on the world we find ourselves in, and that idea of community and being part of something bigger than ourselves. Priya Hall is now the definition of "professional comedian" in my new dictionary.
