NO LAUGHING MATTER... Some people run because they want a medal… some of us are running because we’ve realised not everyone gets the choice to laugh on both sides of their face.
This year, Stroke Association is close to our hearts, so the idiots from Howl Comedy Club are swapping punchlines for pain and taking on the Great North Run to raise money for an incredible cause.
A stroke can change someone’s life in seconds. It can affect movement, speech, memory and even the ability to smile. So while we joke for a living, this one matters.
We’ll be running 13.1 miles fuelled by bad knees, regret and whatever’s left of our dignity to help support people and families affected by stroke.
