After a hugely successful night back in May and lots of people asking for more, Westow house comedy club is back again!!

With a completely different, but absolutely brilliant selection of comedians it's set to be another hilarious night!

Topping the bill we have none other that the legend SLIM!

Slim
Slim is one of the UK’s biggest stand up stars and the undisputed king of the Black British Comedy Circuit.

Physical, ebullient and unashamedly for the people, his multi award-winning 20 year career has seen him perform to thousands all over the world. He’s sold out several smash hit tours, including the Hackney Empire numerous times over. Slim has also supported several high profile US acts including Kevin Hart and Dave Chappelle.

His popular brand of humour is generous, smart and bursting with infectious energy. He’s toured the world extensively including the whole of Europe, Barbados, Jamaica, Qatar, the Falklands Islands, Dubai and even performed at the N.A.T.O Headquarters in Belgium.

Slim is also the first Black British comedian to sell out the London Palladium with his own show.

Slim has an extensive list of TV credits including: Live at the Apollo (BBC Two, Live at the Hackney Empire (BBC One), Sorry I Didn’t Know (ITV1), Mel Giedroyc: Unforgiveable (Dave), Rhod Gilbert’s Growing Pains (Comedy Central) and The Russell Howard Hour (Sky One)

Opening act on the night will be the hilarious Internet sensation,

JACK SKIPPER!

Jack Skipper, hailing from South London, boasts a multifaceted career as a stand-up comedian, podcaster, and video producer. His journey from being a carpet fitter without formal qualifications to full-time comedian is testament to his undeniable talent.

Crafting relatable narratives about family life and offering insights into the experiences of working-class individuals, Jack has endeared himself to audiences far and wide. His everyman persona has propelled him to reaching the finals of prestigious comedy competitions such as So You Think You’re Funny? and the Komedia New Act competition.

Jack’s charismatic presence extends to the digital realm, where he has amassed a substantial following on social media platforms. On TikTok alone, he boasts an impressive 13 million likes, while his Instagram boasts over 200,000 devoted followers. On TV, his appearances include the Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV2).

Finally and what an honour it is to have in the brilliant force of nature, SARAH CALLAGHAN!!

Sarah Callaghan is an award-winning comedian, writer and celebrated spoken word artist.

Named as Time Out’s One to Watch, her stand up is authentic and vibrant. Sarah’s smash hit debut hour Elephant earnt great critical acclaim with its confessional exploration of escape and ambition, achieving sell out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe, Soho Theatre and winning her a Malcolm Hardee Award nomination for the ‘Act Most Likely To Earn A Million Quid’.

Callaghan has extensively toured Australia, New Zealand, Dubai and Europe including Brussels, Norway, Estonia, Andorra, building a strong reputation as a powerful force to be reckoned with.

As a spoken word artist, Callaghan is known for her relatable yet raw servings, rooted in personal experiences. Her work is often a reflection on everyday life discussing childhood trauma, self-growth and has appeared on Benjamin Zephaniah’s BAFTA winning Life and Rhymes for Sky Arts, establishing her prominence as a multi-talented and multi-faceted performer.

Armed with bags of attitude, she’s a refreshing working-class comedy voice… reminiscent of a young Kathy Burke.
