TweetSam Nicoresti returns with a show that isn’t about anything at all. A cowardly new hour of skin-deep emotional vacuity, Sam (Nicoresti) attempts to be as funny as possible for 50 minutes without once resorting to narrative, multimedia, or dramatic convention. Can it be done? To speculate would constitute a framing device, which would completely invalidate the entire premise – of which there isn’t one.

Barry obviously an intelligent comic good at thinking on his feet. This event declared to be a 'workshop' but I didn't see to what end. Maybe trying out new material but lots of audience interaction which was very friendly but pushed things this way and that.

Paul seemed a bit rusty after the pandemic layoff but he was a very engaging personality, not fazed at all by the small turnout. Good idea having a guest comic for 10 mins mid-set. I enjoy seeing how different comics operate. Paul seemed to enjoy himself, so did we.
