TweetHats Funny Comedy debuts at Elsea Park Community centre with a night of laughter in store. Your head liner, President Obonjo is a larger-than-life stand-up comedy character who has been taking the comedy scene by storm. Now featuring in hit show ‘Stolen’ on ITV X and an internet sensation! As the uber-confident, self-appointed, side-splitting dictator of ‘Lafta Republic’, he has been quietly leading a comedy revolution as the African dictator exiled in Britain. With high-energy political and personal gags that have wowed across the country, Bourne best be ready!!!
Opening the night will be Ben Briggs, a solid circuit veteran of 15 years, who has wowed audiences the length and breadth of the country, picking up multiple awards along the way.
There will be 2 support acts separating them in the shape of Katie Brown, a local talent who is rising through the comedy ranks. Katie is a relatable talent and instantly likeable, with some absolutely hilarious tales. Then there is David Luck, a Northants based pun slinger with a difference. He will present an alternative style of comedy that has had people crying with laughter, before he has even said a word.
Your host for the evening is the superb Sarah Johnson. An instantly likeable award winner, Sarah is described as an energetic performer with terrific, bulletproof, material.
