This weekend at The Last Laugh Comedy Club at Sheffield City Hall we’ve got another cracking line-up heading your way.
Tony Burgess is your MC for the evening, and if you’ve seen him before you’ll know exactly why comics love working with him. Fast, unpredictable and gloriously daft, Tony has that rare ability to make a room feel like organised chaos in the very best way. One minute he’s throwing out razor-sharp one-liners, the next he’s off on some bizarre tangent that somehow brings the house down.
Oliver Bowler returns after making a big impression on the circuit with his brilliantly awkward charm and sharply observed stories. He’s got that knack of sounding like your mate down the pub while quietly sneaking in some huge laughs.
James Barr brings something completely different to the night. As heard on national radio and known from the hugely successful A Gay And A NonGay podcast, James is one of the most confident and energetic performers around. Sharp, fearless and packed with stories, he mixes quick-fire crowd work with brilliantly personal stand-up that keeps audiences hooked from start to finish.
Headlining the night is the wonderfully eccentric Steve Shanyaski. A true cult favourite of the UK comedy circuit, Steve’s comedy is delightfully strange, brilliantly inventive and impossible to predict. One of those acts people end up talking about long after the show has finished.
Four top acts. One brilliant night out. Sheffield City Hall. Proper live comedy with a room full of people laughing together.
