Whether you like observational comedy, one liners, comedy magicians or musical comedians there will be a line-up of comics you will absolutely love and enjoy. All our acts perform on the London Comedy Circuit and appear regularly at top clubs like 'The Comedy Store' and 'Up The Creek' and many are mainstays of the current television comedy scene. What a great night. I had never seen Lou Conran do a complete set before, I had only seen her MC comedy clubs. I had heard she was brilliant as Tour Support for Sarah Millican so I travelled to Kent from Surrey as it was the closest venue to where I live. I was not disappointed. Lou was excellent and so was her own support act Eddy Brimson. My jaw was still aching the next day from laughing so much. The venue itself was great, friendly staff and very reasonable drinks. Spoke to the promoter who was extremely helpful and a bit of a character, he told me they run a regular comedy night once a month, I will definitely be back. Even the guy checking tickets (who I was told normally works at a different club for the promoter but was there due to the high demand for the show) was extremely funny and was bantering with the incoming crowd and would not have been put of place on the stage himself. My advice to anyone who is interested in seeing Lou Conran live is go and do it, you will not be disappointed, one of the funniest shows I have seen in a long time. Also if you go to the House of Stand Up, book early, inwas lucky to get some of the last remaining tickets. Highly recommended.
