The crowdwork thing makes it better than a basic youtube show.

Anna Mann was absolutely amazing! What a wonderful treat for a Friday evening ❤️ The way she engaged with her guests & made everyone feel welcome was everything I had hoped for. Loved seeing the audience and people’s faces...something you wouldn’t actually experience in a normal show. You didn’t have to have your camera on, so for the shy guests who didn’t want their faces on show this was an option. I would pay to see her again and again! Loved all her stories and although I have heard some of them before, her unique style brought back happy memories of the past and her glamorous but could we say somewhat frivolous & possibly sordid past. A true icon ❤️

I get why audience microphones were encouraged to be switched on, but I don't need to hear other people chewing. The constant audience interjection (which seemed to mainly be friends of the organisers?) was unfunny, intrusive, and wasted about 20 minutes out of a one-hour show. It made the experience feel like being on the outside of a smug high-school clique with in-jokes. I could pay less than 9 pounds to sit in a pub and listen to the conversations on the next table and have just about the same amount of fun. I was so incredibly disappointed because I love Jess and Hench was the funniest thing I'd seen for years. This was rubbish though, through no fault of Jess herself.
