An Audience with Stan Boardman

Excellent afternoon of comedy at a brilliant venue! Fantastic and friendly bar service and staffing levels meaning no longer than 5 minutes waiting for a pint. Given that there was a big FA cup game and premier league Sunday (both games on live), plus food being served, I have to say it is seems a brilliantly run pub. I Didn’t sample the food as the Sunday menu stopped at 5pm, which I was a little disappointed about, but I will return and order earlier as the food looked delicious too! Thanks to Carl for helping me with a last minute ticket issue and for being a top comic to boot! I hate cats too :)

Recently attended the Clinton Baptiste gig at the Butchers Arms and Wow!! What a great time we had! It was really well organised, the host was brilliant and created a warm, friendly and jovial ambience.. A comedian himself, he had us laughing as soon as the gig started. Fantastic support acts which was a lovely surprise that for ££22 each, we got to see 4 comedians, so excellent value. The start of the show Clinton Baptiste was superb and I can’t believe he was at the Butchers!! I’ll definitely return for future gigs. A great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
