A little bit more about the charity...
Cherry Lodge Cancer Care is a small independent charity based in Barnet / Herts and are committed to improving the quality of life for people living with cancer, their carers, family, and friends. Our services, which are provided free of charge, focus on the provision of high-quality cancer support, information, and complementary therapies. These are delivered by cancer nurse specialists and by therapists. We also have an Outreach Service concentrating particularly on providing information and support to members of black and minority ethnic groups.
The number of cases of cancer is rising each year and national resources are stretched. There is an unmet need and a growing demand for the services we provide. During this pandemic we have had to change the way we work. Our complementary therapies have been halted and visits to the centre stopped. Those with cancer and those newly diagnosed have been facing an even more uncertain future.

Conducting a comedy night over Zoom isn’t easy but Sion and his team did a fantastic job of managing the session, to create a wonderful night with lots of love and laughter. I look forward to the next Zoom comedy night! Thanks Sion!

I had a great night! Loved Brabantia but all the comedians made me laugh and the Ukulele interval was priceless

This was a really great night of fun and laughter with all the same awkward and funny moments of a real-life comedy gig! MC Sion was great at getting the “crowd” involved and all the acts did very well to engage us too! Highly recommend!
