Karl Porter is a Manchester-based comedian, who went viral for his iconic slow-motion goal celebration. Known for his physical comedy and sharp observational humour, Karl brings high-energy storytelling inspired by football culture, everyday life, and modern British absurdities. His natural charisma and crowd-pleasing style make him a standout both online and on stage.

Karl was the winner of the King-Gong at The Comedy Store, Up-the-Creek Comedy competition in London, and the recipient of two awards at the 2024 North West Comedy Awards for Social Media Act and Breakthrough Act of the Year.

In 2023, Karl Porter shot to viral fame with his slow motion goal celebration, gaining over 50 Million views on his Instagram page alone. Following this, Karl appeared on BBC News, TalkSport, ESPN, New Zealand Breakfast, BT Canada, and performed at the launch of EA Sports 2023, opening the show before Rio Ferdinand took to the stage. Lad Bible nominated Karl as their 2023 “Lad of The Year."

Karl is bringing his live show 'And What?' to Hastings as part of his UK tour.

GARRY P reviewed Simon Brodkin: Work in progress show which happened on 7:00pm on Sun 19th Jun 2022.

Billed as a "work in progress", Simon had a good first 20 minutes and a very mediocre final 40! Arriving an hour late didn't help his cause. Needs a lot of work pre-Edinburgh.
