Everything is falling apart. What does it mean to be a woman (and a feminist) in the midst of an apocalypse? Expect stories about the farmer she could have married, an awards ceremony after party, appearing on BBC Radio 4 and Berlin STI tests interspersed with razor sharp political comedy on colonialism and the rise of fascism. Barry obviously an intelligent comic good at thinking on his feet. This event declared to be a 'workshop' but I didn't see to what end. Maybe trying out new material but lots of audience interaction which was very friendly but pushed things this way and that.

Paul seemed a bit rusty after the pandemic layoff but he was a very engaging personality, not fazed at all by the small turnout. Good idea having a guest comic for 10 mins mid-set. I enjoy seeing how different comics operate. Paul seemed to enjoy himself, so did we.
