River is a real-life storyteller with a globe-spanning past and a fearless voice. 'Love, Peace and Chicken Greace' transforms raw lived experience into sharp, soulful comedy. River brings a unique perspective forged through activism in racial and environmental justice, and the silencing that followed. Bringing to life her tales from pole dancing to protest. River has the ability to draw comedy from even the darkest of times in her life. She’s truly one of kind. Unable to afford therapy, she found healing on stage—using humour as medicine not just for herself, but for her audience too. Honest, disarming, and deeply human, River invites you into a night of love, laughter, and truth.

an excellent work in progress gig, Alasdair was very good explained the process and tried out his new material and it all went well, a bigger audience would have been better, but it is a small venue, but it was an intimate jig and it all went very well
