Russell Hicks (Work in Progress)
Russell Hicks, who you've seen on BBC, Channel 4, Amazon Prime, or from his viral Dear Diary videos on social media, and will see in Edgar Wright's Running Man later this year, is building a new show. One of the most exciting comics to come out of America , now based in the UK , branded one of the 'Top Six Comics to Watch' by LA's Stand Up Talk Magazine. Russell Hicks returns brings his own unique brand of improvised standup comedy Californian style to New Cross! Come join the cult of Russell Hicks followers ( Over 270k & 5.9m likes on TikTok!). Anyone who has seen Russell Hicks knows that it is never the same show twice.
Taking a different approach than most comedians, Russell Hicks weaves improvisation with stream of conscious delivery that has moved many audience members to return for two nights in a row. Nothing in this biography can do his act justice other than to say, you just have to see him live'."Indisputably talented, there’s no comic quite like Russell Hicks. 'Russell Hicks is amazing" (Comedy Palace)
Fitzgerald Honger
*British Comedian of the Year Semi-Finalist 2024* Regular on the London comedy circuit, Fitzgerald Honger is a dynamic comedian who has performed in top comedy clubs across London and the UK including The Bill Murray and the Stand Newcastle.
Alex Prescot
Alex is a musical comic who often improvises off crowd work. Clap Back To Reality Winner 2024, Musical Comedy Awards Finalist 2025, ‘Impressive improvisational talents’ The Standard.
Alexis Coward
Alexis is the definition of awkwardly charming. Her comedic style is delightfully unpredictable: think “British observational storytelling” meets “midlife crisis". “Stage presence: Cowards ability to connect with such casual grace makes you feel like you know her. Punch lines: effortlessly funny.” – Hop Comedy
Plus Special Guest TBC
Who could it be? it could be a big comedy star trying out some new bits for telly thing or rising star trying out some new gold?
- Either way it could be your new fave comedian?
MC Sion James
"Utterly charming ... Lovable giant' Time Out London

A hilarious night with great atmosphere even over Zoom, didn’t think it would be possible! Sadly some punchlines were lost from people not turning down their microphones but other than that really fun!

Fantastic night, sooo many laughs! Comedians were great, brilliant audience interaction. Sion was a great virtual host too, great effort regardless of the setting, thanks for a brilliant night!

Such a great change to the usual lockdown evenings! Chucked on going out clothes, brushed hair, emptied the drinks cabinet and caught up with friends beforehand in the breakout room and had a good giggle at the fab acts. What’s not to love?? 😍
