Love Alfie Moore’s radio 4 comedy show and this live encounter with Alfie exceeded our already high expectations. Brilliant timing, great rapport with the audience, wit & warmth - absolutely great. Sandbach Town Hall was a super venue. Found out about the gig through Alfie’s website, but interestingly, our relatives who unlike us, actually live in Sandbach had no idea the event was on. No local publicity they knew of, & no mention of the gig on the Town Hall / council website. (Lost opportunity o/b Town Hall)? Price was fine, ( I’ve paid considerably more to see other comedians with household names who weren’t nearly as good live).
