We have a fantastic line up of comedy talent for you including multi award winning South London Comedy legend that is Mark Thomas, the UK's finest political comedian , probably best known for the political stunts as performed on his cult Channel 4 show, The Mark Thomas Comedy Product & BBC Radio 4 Manifesto shows, Mark brings a work in progress preview of his new show to The Roebuck, Plus London based Morrocan rising star Ily Hamdia , promising punk poet Verity Sharpe, Saaf East Londern's finest Jodi Wheeler , Lucas Jones Ho- Welsh Chinese Comedian based in SE London providing the lols all hosted by your cheeky charming host & MC Sion James in the friendly cosy atmosphere of The Roebuck Borough.

Reviews for previous Sion James events
Loved the evening and the difficulties were dealt with really well. Content was fantastic and loved the comedians, they dealt with everything with grace and would happily watch the same night with them all over again. Unfortunately I was constantly fiddling with the sound to the point I thought of applying for a job as a sound tech. I would definitely considering have some "smart hands" to control the video aspects so we can see who is talking and who is being spoken to, if possible within zoom. Another suggestion would be to nominate a small number of people who can turn their mic volume down for laughter and feedback and make them aware they would need to mute themselves to speak or if background noise got too much. So it's organic laughter but not distracting from the punchline. Everything else was superb and would jump ata second gig. Thank for doing this event to everyone involved and I appreciate there were some tough lessons learnt ready for round two. So definitely pat's on the back all around! Again mega thanks. Rob

I downloaded Zoom just for Happy Mondays, and it's completely worth it! Having MC Sion is what makes this work on any platform - truly immersive and welcoming to all.

Conducting a comedy night over Zoom isn’t easy but Sion and his team did a fantastic job of managing the session, to create a wonderful night with lots of love and laughter. I look forward to the next Zoom comedy night! Thanks Sion!
