For one long weekend, venues across the city will host an exciting programme of live comedy, including stand-up shows, Edinburgh preview performances, interactive dining experiences and family-friendly workshops. Darren Harriott is a stand-up comedian best known for his sharp energetic comedy, and wide-ranging TV work, from Live at the Apollo (BBC), Would I Lie To You (BBC), Dancing on Ice (ITV), Love Island: Aftersun (ITV2), Bake Off: Extra Slice (C4) as well BBC’s Michael McIntyre’s The Wheel, Richard Osman’s House Of Games, and The Apprentice You’re Fired. Twice nominated at the Edinburgh Fringe for Best Show, as well performing at the Melbourne Comedy Festival, in 2023 he was named “Pick of the Fringe”. Darren presents his own BBC Radio show from his home city of Birmingham.
