TweetJoin us in celebrating one of the greatest sitcoms ever made, as we welcome renowned stand-up Joe Rooney for a night of all things Father Ted!
Joe featured as the rebellious Father Damo in the classic Father Ted episode The Old Grey Whistle Theft, leading Dougal astray with his earring, cigarette smoking and bad-boy attitude.
Joe will host a screening of the episode, take you behind the scenes and set you a Craggy Island quiz–then prepare yourself for an all-inclusive ‘Lovely Girls Competition’ have you got the loveliest laugh, the loveliest walk, and can you make the loveliest sandwich?
There will also be a dancing priests competition, plus appearances from a nursery-rhyme singing Ziggy Stardust, Nirvana, Johnny Cash and many more – and the evening wouldn’t be complete without a sing-along to ‘My Lovely Horse’!
Come and meet Joe and immerse yourself in the very silly delights of Father Ted.
Ah, go on...you will! “
A purveyor of choice gags, a natural storyteller, guitar in hand, Joe Rooney delights the room with his infectiously manic delivery.” - Ardal O’Hanlon

What an amazing evening with the tiny power house that is Tanyalee Davis Her life has been full, never letting her size stop her from doing anything she wanted, from playing ice hockey to horse riding, scuba diving and travelling the globe bringing her hilarious tales to all. She has a documentary out called unstoppable me, which if anything like tonight will have you rolling in your seats with laughter, while being constantly amazed at what she has achieved. She brings reality with a massive dose of humour to the trials.and tribulations of life. She has experienced the dark side of the Internet with despicable trolling, and been accused of toxic positivity, whatever that is supposed to mean. She is a pleasure to meet and to speak too, and certainly one of the biggest 'Glimmers' we have experienced.

We attended for the first time this week to watch the trainees who had been doing the workshops and they were all amazing! My cheeks hurt from laughing. It was great to see those who had previously done the course come back and see how well they are doing. It was a great evening and we will definitely be back again! Thank you!
