WILSON'S COMEDY CLUBS presents:
Share:
Tweetπ€ Wilson's Comedy Club returns to the Queens Head on Ramsgate Harbour on March 28th β and this one is something special.Β
π Headlining the night is Sean Meo. One of the most respected and experienced comedians in the country with over 35 years on the circuit. Montreal Comedy Festival. Melbourne. New York. Las Vegas. The London Palladium. Time Out Comedian of the Year. Before all of that he was a professional snooker player. π± He picked up a microphone instead of a cue and never looked back. This is world class comedy coming to your local. π
βοΈ Second on the bill is Prince Abdi. Born in Somalia, raised in Brixton, former primary school teacher β and tour support for Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, Reginald D Hunter and Jack Whitehall. π One of the most exciting and distinctive voices on the UK circuit right now. If you haven't seen him yet, this is the night to fix that. π
π΅
Β Also on the bill is Kirk Fontaine β a musical comedian unlike anything you've seen before. Clever, hilarious, and composing all his own material. His work has already been featured on BBC Radio 4 and he is very much a man on his way up. Catch him now. π
πΒ
And hosting the whole night β Wilson Milton. South London born, Ramsgate adopted. The man who built this club, books every act, and holds the whole night together with sharp observations, pinpoint accents and enough charisma to warm up any room on earth. π
πΈ Live band closes the night after the comedy. πΈ
πΊ The Queens Head on the harbour. Great drinks. Sea views. The best lineup we've put on yet. π
ποΈ Tickets in the bio. This will sell out.

Wilson always puts a good night together. Well worth the money for 3 acts.

A good evening overall. Tom Ward in particular was excellent. First main act was also pretty good (unfortunately can't remember his name, but loud and energetic). Middle two not so great. To the compere: please drop all the racial stuff. It just made several of us feel uncomfortable and is a very lazy way to try to get a laugh. You got much better as the evening progressed and had some really sharp comedy in places - e.g. the observation about dropped "T" when being friendly vs heavily enunciated "T" when cross. More of that kind of comedy please - observing human nature rather than replaying tired stereotypes.

1st and last comedians were really good. The compare was also good, but the other 2 comedians werenβt to our taste
