SATURDAY 25TH APRIL 🎤
Hey! 👋
You've been before. You know what we do. So you already know this Saturday is not one to miss.
We've got three brilliant acts, a headline comedian who has been on your telly for forty years, and your host Wilson Milton — now at 130,000 followers and growing fast. The shows keep getting bigger. Come and be part of it.
★ KATE LUCAS Award winning musical comedian. Winner of the Leicester Mercury New Comedian of the Year. Edinburgh Fringe acclaimed. Razor sharp, deliciously dark songs that will stay in your head long after you leave. 🎵
★ KEVIN McCARTHY Old school in the best possible way. Club Mirror Comedian of the Year. Writer on the BAFTA winning ITV series The Sketch Show. Warm up on Later with Jools Holland. From the era when comedians told proper jokes — no filler, no fluff, just gag after gag after gag. 😂
★ HEADLINE ACT: BOB MILLS Forty years in comedy. ITV's Win Lose or Draw, In Bed With MeDinner, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Have I Got News For You, They Think It's All Over. A television legend with a unique, irreverent, laddish brand of stand up that still puts him among the funniest men in any room. 📺
🎙️ Your host — Wilson Milton First stand up ever featured on Lad Bible. BBC Radio 4. 130,000 followers and rising. The man who built this club and the reason every act keeps coming back.
🎸 Live band after the show as always.

Wilson always puts a good night together. Well worth the money for 3 acts.

A good evening overall. Tom Ward in particular was excellent. First main act was also pretty good (unfortunately can't remember his name, but loud and energetic). Middle two not so great. To the compere: please drop all the racial stuff. It just made several of us feel uncomfortable and is a very lazy way to try to get a laugh. You got much better as the evening progressed and had some really sharp comedy in places - e.g. the observation about dropped "T" when being friendly vs heavily enunciated "T" when cross. More of that kind of comedy please - observing human nature rather than replaying tired stereotypes.

1st and last comedians were really good. The compare was also good, but the other 2 comedians weren’t to our taste
