Marcel Lucont
Marcel Lucont is without question the greatest UK-based French comedian around.
This multi-award-deserving flâneur, raconteur and bon-viveur is currently touring the world, charming women and insulting the stupid. His deadpan stand-up, world-class sex poetry and bawdy chansons have been a huge hit all over Europe, Australasia and America and he has improved many a TV show along the way, including Set List (Sky Atlantic), Comedy Central At The Comedy Store, The John Bishop Show (BBC1), Russell Howard's Good News (BBC3)
Plus support from RedWillow New Comedian of the Year 2024 Qasim Akhtar and more to be announced.

Compere really good. Warm, welcoming ( even some latecomers) and very funny. Last act dwelled on heroin (not a heroine which might have made a funny link? ) and Scotish people too long. A slight platform or stage would have benefited viewing. A very friendly club.

Seen Tony 5 times, never disappoints. This guy is a great fool-brought a chum along & he now has a new convert.

How do you describe Tony Law? I can't so go see his show and see if you can

This was my first time at this comedy evening. I really enjoyed both acts. However, it was unfortunate that Tony cut his set short, apparently due to too much noise from the crowd and maybe lack of sight of the crowd (due to the lighting). I am not sure the seating set out is the best for comedy and the venue also feels like a very nice, relaxed, bar, which then doesn't reinforce the feeling of a comedy venue (and has a maybe too comfortable feel to it, which leads to chatter). I have seen Tony many times and he didn't seem to be able to get into his usual flow.
