Thursday 8th January 2026
Banishing those January blues and kicking off the New Year in the right way! Macclesfield Comedy Club is back at the RedWillow, delivering a night of pure laughter to shake off the winter gloom.
Headlining the show is the wildly surreal and unique PAUL F. TAYLOR!
Paul is an award-winning stand-up, known for his brilliantly funny nonsense and unique style that blends quirky one-liners with fantastical flights of fancy. He has been seen on Harry Hill's Nite Club (Channel 4) and heard on the award-winning BBC Radio 4 sketch show Please Use Other Door. As a winner of the prestigious Hackney Empire New Act of the Year Award (NATY) and a Leicester Comedy Festival Best New Show nominee, Paul’s frenzied delivery and madcap ideas are guaranteed to be a massive dose of comedy cheer!
Joining him is the brilliant YURIKO KOTANI, a true rising star.
Yuriko is a multi-award-winning comedian, best known as the winner of the prestigious BBC New Comedy Award. Her unique, feel-good storytelling has seen her appear on shows like Paul Hollywood Eats Japan and The Horne Section TV Show, earning her five-star reviews from critics.

We found the arbitrary seating locations not to our liking. We are 2 people arrived 30 minutes before the show, we were told we were sitting at the front. We had sat at the front at Bramhall the week before and even though that was fine with us we thought it should be someone else in the spotlight as there were loads of tables for 2 where we could sit not taken. The representative from the pub said that there had been a lot of admin going into the evening and we could not change our table. We had some discussion and eventually sat down in the seats allocated. The pub representative came along a few minutes later and said that it would not be good for the comedians to see miserable faces at the front and moved us. Looking at the set up this problem arises because they have table service and they want to know who is sitting at what table. We would be reluctant to return to this venue because of that. At Bramhall we were just told that we could sit at any table for 2
