TweetIt's only David James as your headliner!
David is an award-winning comedian who coaches public speakers and other comedians. His dry delivery and word-precision, even his pauses, have attracted critical comment “...the sort of king-sized pauses that only men, not boys, ever have the balls to attempt” (London is Funny). His observations and storytelling are described as “surreal, intelligent, and masterfully told” (Spoonfed, London). David is delighted to bring his unique brand of stand-up to Uckfield for the first time.
•New Act of the Year (runner-up), Hackney Empire 2009
•Brighton Fringe: Baby Boomer (2015), Precisely (2016), Working from Home (2022)
•Judge: Brighton Grin Awards (2021)
Scott Oswald
High energy, very physical, but mainly just a bit of silly fun. Scott is a regular improviser at The Free Association, was runner-up for the British Comedy Guide Pro Talent Award for Writing in 2020, and a semi-finalist for the West End New Act of the year 2023.
Jade Gebbie
Jade is a comedy writer, stand-up comedian, audio editor, and dog lover. After doing a course in Brighton, Jade started stand-up around 3 years ago. She has gigged across the country as well as in New Zealand where she is also a citizen. Jade was a semi-finalist of the Komedia New Act Competition 2020, a Funny Women Nominee in 21/22, and co-runs/ hosts a night at the Caroline of Brunswick (Brighton) - Cackle Comedy
SJ Wyatt
SJ is a middle aged queer activist and geek with barely contained anger issues.
SJ has been doing stand up for just over a year mainly in London where they live and in Brighton.
Their style is slightly quirky and upbeat with dark undertones. They talk about their obsessions with socialism , sci fi as well as their personal experiences of having being a bi sexual with bi polar in a straight supposedly sane world
SJ is non binary and uses the pronouns They/ Them.
Graeme Collard
South Coast Comedian of the Year - Runner Up 2021
"There's much to enjoy with his way of thinking" Steve Bennett - Chortle
with Craig Smalls
and MC Simon (in the last week of his 40s - he's probably going to bang on a bit about that) Dooley.

Fun and an affordable night out. Thanks for organising. Not all comics were great but some were and we enjoyed our evening overall.
