Palestinian Comedy Night

We're thrilled to present our Palestinian Comedy Night as part of the wider Dorchester Festival of Palestinian Culture. Join us for what will be an entertaining evening of hilarious comedy from a fantastic line up of comedians. The show will provide a mixture of comedians from both Palestinian and non-Palestinian heritage. This 'not be missed' event will feature Headliner Sami Abu Wardeh. Sami was one of the Guardian's top 10 comedy acts of 2022 and has performed at high profile venues across the UK, including his acclaimed show 'Bedu' at the Edinburgh Festival in partnership with the Soho Theatre. Sami also wrote and starred in the satirical series 'The Sheikh' for Channel 4 Digital. We are also excited to have the amazing talents of Farah Sharp - named 'One to watch' in the Funny Women Awards 2023. Supporting acts will be the very talented Joe Haddad, Af Marseh and Mark Pencherz. Local Dorchester comedian Gavin Egan will MC for the night. The show is part of the a week-long programme, celebrating Palestinian arts, cuisine and traditions. Tickets are limited so make sure you buy early to avoid disappointment.
