STARRING
AWARD-WINNING COMEDIAN, TV PERSONALITY & AUTHOR
ADAM BLOOM
Adam Bloom is undoubtedly one of Britain’s most exciting and original stand-up comedians. This whirlwind of a comedian has become one of the most in demand headliners performing today.
From the moment he set foot on the circuit over 18 years ago, he stunned the industry with his rapid rise. This included producing countless sell-out shows at the Edinburgh Festival, breaking box office records at The Melbourne International Comedy Festival for a first visit and performing a sell-out UK tour, all within his first five years. All this has brought constant requests for shows, not only in the UK & Australia, but also across the world. From Amsterdam to Cape Town as well as other festivals in Montreal, Sydney, Auckland, Wellington & Kilkenny.
His originality and speed of thought has also resulted in him being hired to write for numerous TV & radio shows – including three series of ‘The Problem with Adam Bloom’ for BBC Radio 4, as well as writing for over 20 other comedians and personalities, even writing award acceptance speeches.
He is an immensely versatile artist who likes to attune his comedy to his audience, often working his sets around the immediate crowd or subjects that come up spontaneously. This particular talent has made him as popular for corporate events as he is for headlining at clubs around the county. He performs at dozens of company and private events every year with glowing reviews. Adam Bloom’s energy, timing and comedic depths make him an ideal choice for any occasion.

Fun evening, great comedians and excellent value. Is there something you can do about the annoying hecklers?

Ollie seemed very nervous and maybe used the wrong content for this audience in our opinion.

What a great night. I had never seen Lou Conran do a complete set before, I had only seen her MC comedy clubs. I had heard she was brilliant as Tour Support for Sarah Millican so I travelled to Kent from Surrey as it was the closest venue to where I live. I was not disappointed. Lou was excellent and so was her own support act Eddy Brimson. My jaw was still aching the next day from laughing so much. The venue itself was great, friendly staff and very reasonable drinks. Spoke to the promoter who was extremely helpful and a bit of a character, he told me they run a regular comedy night once a month, I will definitely be back. Even the guy checking tickets (who I was told normally works at a different club for the promoter but was there due to the high demand for the show) was extremely funny and was bantering with the incoming crowd and would not have been put of place on the stage himself. My advice to anyone who is interested in seeing Lou Conran live is go and do it, you will not be disappointed, one of the funniest shows I have seen in a long time. Also if you go to the House of Stand Up, book early, inwas lucky to get some of the last remaining tickets. Highly recommended.
