Tweet🎭 GREAT NIGHTS DESERVE AN ENCORE.
✨ COLCHESTER COMEDY IS BACK! ✨
There's something rather special about live comedy.
Perhaps it's the anticipation before the first joke. The unexpected moments. The laughter that spreads across a room full of strangers until, for a couple of hours, nobody feels like a stranger anymore.
And sometimes, the best nights are the ones you didn't want to end.
❤️ Our last Colchester show SOLD OUT! So we're delighted to be returning to No Name Bar & Games on Saturday 6th February 2027.
At House of Stand Up, we believe great comedy deserves to be experienced properly. That's why we bring well-known, established comedians out of the television screen and onto the stage, performing LIVE, UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL.
No distant seats. No television cameras. Just brilliant comedians, a great atmosphere and the wonderful unpredictability of live entertainment.
🎟️ A LITTLE THOUGHT ABOUT BOOKING EARLY...
The best things in life aren't always planned at the last minute. And sometimes, being a little ahead of the crowd has its rewards.
Our Early Bird tickets offer the chance to save £££s, leaving a little extra for a drink or two on the night. 🍷
With our previous show selling out, it's worth securing your seats while the best-value tickets are available.

Because long after the evening is over, it's rarely the things we bought that we remember.
It's the nights we shared. And the laughter that came with them. ❤️

Superb evening and Lee Hurst a brilliant headline act. The compare at times seemed to struggle and it felt a little awkward but to be fair to her, the crowd were a little reserved. Not sure how much local research was done by the comedians before they came down, often a good idea to try to gain an idea of a demographic and issues in the local area which they could play on. However, we will definitely be going to more of these as it’s a great event, and really good to see a packed house made up of the local community . Bravo!
